- I found what I was looking for. I was pointed to the GNU-WIN32 project
- by Cygnus. Its URL is: http://www.cygnus.com/misc/gnu-win32/
-
- After a while I got a good part of the "GNU Win32" environment running.
- It is very important to follow the instructions carefully. I even got
- gcc to compile and run C and C++ programs. Now I am trying to get it to
- compile a Windows program.
-
- To unzip the files, it is important to make sure they be directed to the
- proper directories. Also, some of them use non-DOS compliant file
- names; WinZip at http://www.winzip.com/ worked great for me, and I was
- also pointed to http://www.tangent.com/ntfiles/winnt/unzip.exe
-
- Thanks again to everybody for your help.
